Our
three clubs, one in Maida Vale
and two in Covent Garden, provide a
range of activities, support and social
interaction as well as the option of
lunch to those older people who are able
and wish to join us at these centres.
With an extensive choice of
activities provided by the clubs
directly, we host a broad selection of
adult education classes in addition to
classes delivered
through our Reaching U programme. This
targets specific activities to older
people in partnership with Westminster
Adult Education Service and Open Age.
As well as providing a warm environment
and a hot meal, our clubs enable older
people to mix with
each other and join in activities that
suit their interests and hobbies.
Keeping mentally active, physically fit,
having a good network of friends and
maintaining a balanced and healthy diet
are all important in helping older
people to lead better lives and remain
active citizens of the community.
